Other Local Services

Whilst most of the work here at Studio House is based around work on ‘self’, recovery and integration back into society is not a solo effort. We work closely with many other local and national organisations, who specialise in a wide variety of different support services. Here are a selection of our Support Agencies,

Double impact logo

Founded in Nottingham in 1998. Double Impact has been privileged to play a supporting role in the lives of our service users, who are the driving force behind everything we do. Working in Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire, we offer a unique service that deals with all the issues facing recovering people, helping to break the devastating cycle of addiction.

Explore Family is a free and confidential family service for anyone affected by someone else’s drug or alcohol use in Nottingham City.

Providing a single point of free support, advice and treatment to people who use alcohol and drugs in a problematic way across Nottingham City

Through volunteering their skills, time and resources, Rotary members make a positive difference to the lives of others. Clubs work tirelessly to raise funds for local good causes, placing them right at the heart of their local communities. Their projects include organising and supervising community events, promoting the achievements of young people, helping those who are disadvantaged or disabled, coordinating educational programmes and working in partnership with local businesses and charities.

Framework helps homeless people, prevents homelessness, and brings opportunities to vulnerable people in Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and South Yorkshire.

BAC-IN is a culturally sensitive, peer led, drug & alcohol recovery service offering support to all sections of the under-served Black & Minority Ethnic communities in Nottingham.

Nottingham Womens Center

Nottingham Women’s Centre is run by women, for women. We aim to help all women to gain the confidence and skills to achieve their potential and become stronger and more independent. We provide a safe and supportive environment in which women can do this, either by taking part in training or activities, getting support and services, or campaigning and becoming active in bringing about change.
